The Heart (Wisdom)
The Brain’s scientific aspect is being researched a lot; unfortunately the spiritual aspect has not been touched upon and remains undeveloped so far. Today the mind has rusted because of all the knowledge (ILM) that has not been smothered and dealt with and needs to be galvanized to produce exemplary deeds.
So, develop the brain’s faculty of intellectuality for spirituality. Work the wisdom on the mind and convert the negative thoughts to positives and produce exemplary deeds. It will overwhelm people like the Companions of Prophet Peace be upon him once did.
The Heart is the place where the Faith (Iman, Yaqeen), Fear of The Almighty Allaah (Taqwa), To please The Almighty Allaah (Ikhlas), Love of Prophet Peace be upon him and hatred for the sins, sacrifice for the work of Dawah, service to the parents and many more things exist, which enlighten the mind. Wisdom exists in the heart, so when body strives too much for the Amaal of Deen (Namaz, Zikr, Dawah, Tauba, Tarbeith etc.), The Almighty Allaah gifts us the Wisdom. Use the gift to pull back the cravings and hand them over to the arena of good deeds and virtues. Neither wisdom should follow the wrong suggestions of the mind (Washvasha) nor should it do injustice to it, often, which it does. When the mind breaks the Commands of The Almighty Allaah or disturbs the wisdom, the heart becomes stressful. Silence and the repentance (Tauba) are the amazing solutions for it. Softness and kindness are the best for the wisdom; sins, anger and pride are considered worst.
Avoiding comments and promoting silence are exemplary virtues to protect wisdom. Wisdom helps one to see and differentiate distinctly the good and the bad, light from darkness and his own faults. While eating, wisdom must analyze the food and question whether it has been well arranged by Satan to destroy the digestive system or not? The ‘Strengthened’’ wisdom can pull back useless thoughts, Satan, Nafs and desires. It matures with moderation and calmness. Supply the fuel, which is good for the wisdom and mind and cut off all thoughts, things, environment, activities and people, which harm it. Satanic (negative) thoughts to the mind and washvasha of the heart badly damage the state of ‘Noor’ of Iman and wisdom.
Wisdom (which many non Muslims do possess) has been discovered but never tested and remain ignorant about the Noor of Iman, enlightenment, Sakina and blessings from The Almighty Allaah and that will refrain them from understanding the importance of Islam, Deen, Hereafter and how blessed our beloved Prophet Mohammad Peace be upon him is. Many people took this risk and embraced Islam and finally discovered the secret of enlightenment. They wrap themselves in Islam till their death. I have never seen any Muslim who discovered enlightenment and Iman yet left their ancestor religion ‘Islam’ and entered the folder of any other religion. This is the beauty of true Islam; unfortunately our behaviour and dealings in course have gradually damaged this beauty. Often, wisdom forgets the consequences and becomes gets airs of proudness and then gets punctured in front of women, friends, wealth, position (designation) relationship with some pious, influential people and in a chaotic environment, one has to be very careful while dealing in such places. When Prophet Peace be upon him used to listen the Holy name of The Almighty Allaah- Hu- Akbar, immediately he (Peace be upon him) used to forget the material world only remembering the Greatness of The Almighty Allaah.
One needs to strive (Jahud) hard for the achievement of wisdom and Hidayath (enlightenment) to attain closeness to The Almighty Allaah. One has to understand and discover the Iman (yaqeen) and wisdom first in the life to achieve success in the world and Hereafter, which might take years and years. Strive hard to cleanse all the addictions and bad habits, which have developed in the mind since childhood, so that wisdom can rule your mind once again. I have seen excellent manners and etiquette in children in many families, because their parents knew exactly how to protect and develop their child’s mind and wisdom so that they are kept away from bad ways of life.
Wisdom is the palate where Iman dwells nowhere other than on the wisdom itself. First wisdom develops then faith (Yaqeen) grows and penetrates or vice-versa as The Almighty Allaah wants, but when wisdom gets damaged then Iman is also destroyed. Try your best and beg from The Almighty Allaah (Duaien) so that wisdom and Iman develop simultaneously. Basically I want to tell hose who have wisdom should strive for Iman and those who have Iman must strive for wisdom. Those who have acquired Iman and wisdom both will enjoy the necessities while others indulge in luxuries and desires. Heaven is not for the animals, only the noble shall enter and without Iman (yaqeen) nobody shall be allowed to enter Paradise. It’s the wisdom, which differentiates between humans and animals. May The Almighty Allaah give us the ability to understand the missing part of the wisdom and nourish it accordingly, because at times small mistakes but heavy losses are discerned, similarly small virtues many a times earn big rewards.
Three things are very important in life.
- Yes! I am not at all diverted rather I’m present with my wisdom during my deeds (Amaal, Labbaik).
- I am using my wisdom to make this Amaal (deeds) perfect and beautiful.
- Or I am using this Amaal (deeds) to make my wisdom enlightened and unique.
When Prophet Peace be upon him used to hear The Almighty Allaah- Hu- Akbar, he (Peace be upon him) would forget the material world instantly and thereby remembering whole-heartedly the Greatness of The Almighty Allaah.
The beauty of Namaz is that the Greatness of The Almighty Allaah should be on your visuality so that you forget the whole material world. Some people pray Namaz to Worship The Almighty Allaah, but for some of them its is a very personal meeting (Meraj).
There are some other paths, which make the wisdom full of Noor (light) and Sakina (Blessings) such as Namaz, Zikr etc. While there are others, which reform (Tarbeith) the wisdom by reading books to gain knowledge (ILM), the path of The Almighty Allaah (Dawah), working under the supervision of a senior; socializing with pious, intellectual people (Mashaiks), Service to others (khidmah), visiting Mecca and Medinah and of course travelling. At times these are bit painful.
I have never seen a miracle like the ones coming from The Commands of The Almighty Allaah and Sunnah of Hazrat Rasool Peace be upon him which supplies all the requirements of the Iman and wisdom such as Noor, Sakina, protects from destruction and brings favours from The Almighty Allaah instantly from His ‘Hidden Kingdom’. Iman increases a lot when we see The Almighty Allaah’s help. These are so simple that the poorest of the poor and richest of the rich can follow easily. Always be careful of Satan and Nafs who suddenly attack on to the core of our wisdom in the form of pride, sin and in many more evil, which destroys at mass. Satan is within us and is always trying to misguide the mind.
Strive hard with the fear of The Almighty Allaah to enlighten (Noor) the wisdom by Quran and Hadees. Clean. Our life must not convey any wrong message to the people. Excessive talks and thoughts badly damage and rupture the wisdom. In fact our wisdom itself is sick and needy. You will sail across oceans of thoughts, observe numerous activities and hear many things, make sure that they don’t damage your Iman (Yaqeen) and wisdom. These situations will try to inject poison into our mind but don’t allow them to succeed. Problems of the mind and wisdom are that we remain ignorant about a subject but it strikes us much more in advance (for example many ailments). It is the most complicated and painful situations in which a man happens to commit major sin. Some people happen to sell their wisdom and undernourished Iman at low prices just to gain the worldly benefits whereas a man with perfect Iman fails to perform such an act. Many of us though poor, illiterate but bear a strong faith (Yaqeen of The Almighty Allaah) and can sacrifice everything for benefit of others, whereas an achiever of wisdom cannot do that because he has not equipped himself with that strong faith that The Almighty Allaah will reward him much more to what he has sacrificed or donated. (Zakat).
The Mind
Mind must understand the fact that the materialistic world is fully under the dominion of The Almighty Allaah. The Commands of The Almighty Allaah shall test us all but none can escape His tests. He didn’t even spare His beloved Prophet from it. Now and then there will remain a tussle between The Almighty Allaah’s Commands and the material world, but the mind must accept and fulfill The Almighty Allaah’s Commands and refuse material world. Later it will see The Almighty Allaah’s hidden kingdom come to its support.
Act perfectly. Be sincere to your work. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Always keep your mind alert and well prepared so that you can encounter any kind of eventuality. Eventuality is one of that thing, which a man happens to commit major sins to overcome the present crisis that later makes him more bearing his sufferings. Situations gradually change yet he forgets and commits sins and ultimately gets out of control. When Man gets out of control, he must try and stop thinking, control his tongue and have patience (Sabr). In the worst situation of eventuality can you perform the best deeds though sunken in that situation? Ego, diversion and negative thoughts of the mind must be condemned strongly.
The wisdom of the mind must be extremely cautious and focused
A. Not even ‘a minute’ is to be drained.
B. Not even ‘a penny’ is to be wasted
C. Gossiping should not waste even ‘a calorie’ of energy.
Thinking correctly is one of the most complicated and powerful subject, the people who have reached the highest level of spirituality have achieved this superb quality on ‘how to think’. Men become dedicated leaders with their correct thoughts i.e. ability to think correctly. But at the same time wrong thinking is root causes of all the sufferings. Think means travels, if you think something you have to travel up to there. People spend hours and hours towards wrong thoughts. Satan’s greatest tools are think and think but forget the deeds which you need collect from this world, Amaal. That is why often I advice, the best of thought is not to think at all. At this stage wisdom captures abundant Noor because the wrong thoughts fail to destroy the Noor of the wisdom (heart). Next step is to concentrate on the tongue and what it recites or says. The subsequent step is to concentrate on the subject presently dealing with and the top most thought is to think the way Rasool Peace be upon him and his Companion thought i.e. his character (Peace be upon him), behaviour and performance. Are my thoughts negative? Is my mind locked? Do I have enough strength to think? The person I am talking to, is he negative? What am I missing in my life? Are the questions to be asked from one’s self? Mind has huge potentials and capabilities don’t drain it instead use it wisely. Organize the mind with perfect strategies and priorities. Top priority of the Mind and life, is to learn and sacrifice for the work of Dawah and service to the parents and to practice what the Prophet Peace be upon him did from dawn to dusk and vice versa and then practicing how he did them, successively then walking towards what he asked us to do while practicing those things (commands). Simply follow the Prophet Peace be upon him character, Sunnah and sayings. We need to do perfect deeds (Amaal) according to our own ILM (knowledge) and experience. Satanic thoughts must not enter the mind during sleep. Recite Zikr at ease with a calm and peaceful mind and aviod thinking while trying to sleep. Restrict the mind so that, it can’t drag you into any form of troubles and problems which sooner or later might become a means of repentance. Discuss only those materials that are related to the subject. We must not confuse others with our thoughts, ideas and suggestions. Points to remember;
- Will understand the test from The Almighty Allaah, catch of desires (Nafs) and Satan to escape from the sins, foolishness and deceptions.
- Will remain focused on present and future sufferings, which are yet to arrive.
- Will have vision and thoughts of consequences
- Will take professional guidance (Maswara) and listen to elders.
The biggest deception of the mind is neglecting health and many more valuable aspects. You must develop commonsense, patience and self- control within the mind. Protect it from useless thoughts, acts and forgetfulness. Satan’s commonest and biggest trick is to make you remember all the invaluable things and force you to forget all the important and valuable aspects of life. Such can be observed as in the case of importance of the work of Dawah, death, Hereafter, parents service, children’s character building, health and of course to earning a Halal livelihood, Masnun Duaien and Sunnah. The biggest crime the mind commits is when it thinks of the less important things, people and subjects and making utmost important and valuable matters seem less important. That is how sufferings come. When any worldly achievers bring to mind that “I am superb in my thoughts” and pats his back to satisfy himself, it annoys The Almighty Allaah, He then puts him to a place where he suffers in a devastatingly humiliating manner. This is because of his proud and the pride he withheld. The cloth of proudness is for The Supreme power ‘The Almighty Allaah’, if anyone thinks, “I deserve to be proud” then The Almighty Allaah shall hold him accountable.
Perfect decision is the most valuable gift of The Almighty Allaah to mankind, it’s uniquely a special blessing to people who The Almighty Allaah loves with valor and closeness, gifts to him the wisdom and the ability to decide things flawlessly. Although not every decision is too complicated yet some of them definitely are. One needs consultation (Maswara), professional guidance and then must wait and watch until the brain reflects the crème. Wrong decisions lead to utter chaos and mayhem.
Deciding priorities are also quite complicated. Many people fail to decide when and what subjects are to be given priorities and suffer because of that. Learn how and where to switch ‘on’ and ‘off’. Avoid all activities, people and environment, which cause damage to the Iman, mind and the wisdom. When you are in extreme distress and frustration avoid negativity and the company of negative people.. You must avoid those who are in constant habit of chattering.
The Almighty Allaah’s Universal rules are that children must be obedient to their parents, wife must be obedient and endeavouring to the spouse, there is no other choice or deed that shall solve these critical problems except “obedience.”
Death of the mind is certain when it remains in a state of arrogance and is adamant with the wrong thoughts, intentions, strategies and decision. Once someone told me that when The Almighty Allaah enters annoyance He sends dirty things to his mind then all his senses and actions become contaminated with that dirt. He eats but his servants are left hungry, he fills his stomach in marriage halls but his driver is waiting hungry, he eats a full stomach but his neighbour sleeps without a loaf of bread. The solution to this kind of a situation is to surrender your thoughts to the final Prophet’s, or think what the best your mind can think to please him Peace be upon him.
Be gentle with the gentle and tough with the tough (be tough but ‘once in a blue moon’ not all the time) so, that people do not take you for granted or exploit you because you are too kind and soft with them. When you are too soft some people start abusing your mind.
For believer, Iman will try their ability to fulfill The Almighty Allaah’s Commands and if they can’t they’d rather repent a lot, But the disbelievers who are the achievers of wisdom enjoy life but do not repent at all if they happened to violate or break the Commands of The Almighty Allaah, they do not care or fear breaking them. So with a conscious effort try and stay away from them at all events.
It must be a routine for us to leave home and diverge towards the path of The Creator and recite ‘Isteghfar’ at all times. Think that Rasool Peace be upon him had borne more than us, by doing these, the built up tension within us will be released. At times live, agree with the disagreement. Handle people and situation, exactly the way Huzur Peace be upon him had handled. Laziness and Ignorance (Ghaflat and Jehalath) are the diseases, so be dealt with them. The remedies to the stated problems are gaining knowledge (ILM), going to the path of The Almighty Allaah, socializing with pious, intellectual (Mashaiks) people, visiting Mecca and Medina, developing intelligence and intellectuality and of course travelling. Body needs a handful of things namely self-control, disciplined life, consistency of Amaal, hardship, proper rest and silence.
Work of Dawah is one of the organs of Hazrat Rasool Peace be upon him so its better not to comment on this exalted work, let the people continue the way they are doing. Some of them may be arrogant, ignorant, inefficient and incompetent but nevertheless they are the workers of the prophetic mission and so they deserve to be respected instead of being bombarded with criticism. Many things you may not agree with them, yet live with the disagreement. The truth behind going to path of The Almighty Allaah (Dawah) is that, when we stay at home due to many desires, the Iman becomes weak. Iman gets full power and strength when we spend time in the path of The Almighty Allaah; Iman grows in the path of The Almighty Allaah and Mosque. Quality of Angels develops only in the Mosque. Many more things happen there, go there regularly, routinely you will understand it’s importance, as I have already mentioned, the power of wisdom and Iman develops only in the path of The Almighty Allaah. Although going in the path of The Almighty Allaah at times is difficult but you must go to increase Iman, wisdom and self control which do not develop at home. Prophet Peace be upon him had encouraged us very much to spend time in the path of The Almighty Allaah; he knew it’s importance and values. Satan powerfully attacks a man so that he does not go in the path of The Almighty Allaah. He knows if he goes in there, secret of life will be discovered, which Satan does not want at all.
One has to keep a very strong relationship with the Ulemas (Muslim Scholars) to develop true wisdom. They are the heir and learned who understand the complete life of Prophet Peace be upon him in depth so they will guide you accordingly.
One interesting thing or an activity I have realized in my life is that a man who knows how to drive sitting in a chauffer driven car, tries to interfere and guide the driver every now and then and warns him to look at the red light, use break system, maintain a distance, should not change the gear so off the hook, switch on the indicator when required, commands him not to overtake etc. This happens because the owner himself is well informed how to drive, that is solely why he is uncomfortable sitting next to the driver. There is a list of instructions he gives although the driver is cautious enough to drive. Similarly when a man comes in contact with an Ulemas (Muslim Scholar) or an executive, his senior often remarks on something that might offend the listener, many a times it gets irritating, if you think something is correct and your intuition urges you to go ahead with your decision then go ahead with it. But keep in mind that the senior’s words are built on the bricks of his past experiences and that the Ulemas are known to possess extreme vision in their thoughts and acts, so be careful while dealing such kind of situations. Some people even comment on the fact that the pious are so beloved to The Almighty Allaah that their mistakes or wrongs become the virtues near The Almighty Allaah.
Mind must be grateful and earnest to remember those who have helped you, but if you helped someone during his crisis it is better to forget it so that there won’t be any expectation. The hurdles, which arrive from The Almighty Allaah is set for a motivation without which we cannot rise. We need a competitive environment and people to motivate us often.
What does it mean complete wisdom and Iman? Remember The Almighty Allaah is the sole owner of all wisdom.
What does it mean complete wisdom and Iman? Remember Allaah is the sole owner of all wisdom.
I’ve known a pious man who explained the feeling of complete Wisdom and Iman to me. He said that not necessarily it would happen to everyone. It happened to him when he went to perform Hajj. He performed Hajj like a beggar without sufficient money. When he entered to the house of Allaah the Baithullah (Mecca) first time, his body trembled by the fear of Allaah, he wept a lot, considered death to be so near he may not be able see or meet many of his peers. He ate less, does not want to meet or talk much to the people preferred loneliness adequate surveillance on the tongue, when prayed mind ceased to think, only Noor and Noor did he visualize. When he was praying at Hateem, He felt that if he prayed for 40 years he wouldn’t possess an urge to eat, sleep or require anything else. Faith of Hereafter (Akherath) became so strong that he wanted to offer all Nafil prayers successively, read Quran most of his leisure time, followed Sunnah step by step and one after the other. He slept like a newborn baby. He saw and realized Allaah’s mysterious help that has incomparably increased his Iman on Allaah way beyond one’s imagination. When he went to Arafat his body’s weight became negligible. When People misbehaved to him he politely ignored or tolerated but did not want to take any revenge regardless of the action. His control on the eyes became so strong that the most beautiful woman failed to capture his sight. At the night of Muzdalfah he was extremely tired and exhausted but still prayed the Namaz whole night and recited the Zikr of Allaah. At the Meena in Jumerah while stoning to Satan, he felt losing something (bad effects of sins what he committed in the past) from the heart and that gave a more buoyant feeling. At the Medinah he cried to Allaah that his past sins should not be known to Prophet sws perhaps it would hurt him (sws) too much. He also felt at the Riazul Jannah the place between the graveyard of Prophet sws and the Mimber (dias) its a real place of Heaven. At the Medinah he also realized that the Prophet’s sws pain and agony for his Ummah is much to compared it like a heavy burden or a mountain to his (sws) heart. Nothing makes Prophet sws happy or relieved except that who will reduce his pain for the Ummah shall give him some relief; none other than this provides him relief. Suddenly he felt the importance and value of his mother in his heart and he left Madinah in one day. When he returned to his home country the heart became so soft that as soon as the names of Allaah and Prophet sws comes to the tongue his eyes watered in no time; He finally derived a light from Allaah (sky) which was connected to his heart directly wherever he went the light followed, it was the highest level of spirituality nothing is beyond that one could achieve in this world, because the Iman is in Gayeb (secret) he could and it sustained for 14 to 15 days. And at the last he did not want to fulfill any desires of this world but only with the minimum necessities. These are the conducts of an exemplary man who achieved complete Wisdom and Iman during the time of Hajj.
My best advice
Look for the beauty in The Almighty Allaah and his beloved Prophet Peace be upon him, the Commands of The Almighty Allaah and its priorities and Sunnah. What is forbidden (Haram) and what are the deceptions that lie in it? Must also be searched and questioned.
Think what Prophet Peace be upon him thought when he brought to his ears ‘The Almighty Allaah-hu Akbar’ (The Almighty Allaah is the supreme, the Greatest) what he (Peace be upon him) brought to mind when he recited Alhamdolliah (O The Almighty Allaah I am grateful to you). I have heard he (Peace be upon him) discerned or observed the meaning of each word he recited in remembrance of the Creator. At present we ought to think of the Sunnah, the Hadees and the Character of Rasool Peace be upon him and commonsense. Later analyze it from different angles and educate ourselves about the consequences. Find out from the Ulemas, on what occasion what sort of thoughts conquered him e.g. fear captured him for the sake of The Almighty Allaah when he was in seclusion or whether he was at his normal pace.
Act According to the Wishes of The Almighty Allaah and the way Prophet Peace be upon him had acted or have asked us to.
Convert negative thoughts of the mind to positives. Penetrate the Yaqeen of Iman into the wisdom to counter Satan. The wisdom of the mind must be extremely cautious and focused
- Not even ‘a minute’ is to be drained.
- Not even ‘a penny’ is to be wasted
- Gossiping should not waste or deduct even ‘a calorie’ of energy.
There should be six wounds the heart must bear to avoid major losses and negligence in this life and Hereafter. Need humble Duaien after every Namaz.
A. Wounds of Rasool Peace be upon him what he had in his heart for his Ummah, What the best can you offer to your ability to impart help in the Prophet’s Peace be upon him mission which includes spending time in the path of The Almighty Allaah, helping Ummah in their crisis.
B. Wounds of the parents every person must sustain if your parents suffer any sort of pain or agony, what the best can you offer to your ability to help them, by doing the best service to conquer their heart and helping them when they are in need and be obedient to them.
C. Wounds of the children if they are not yet religious or if they haven’t developed a good moral character, what the best can you offer to your ability to help them, such as spending quality and distinct time, teaching them the value of time, life and discipline etc. Their capacity and capabilities must not be wasted. Do Duaien for their Hidayath and Hifazat (protection).
D. Wounds of the diseases if at all you and your family members are suffering from any ailments (heart disorders, high BP, sugar etc.) what the best can you offer to your ability to help yourself. Stop swallowing poison (all harmful foods etc. in relation to the body), learn how to de-stress and detoxify yourself by leaving junk and oily food.
E. Try your level best to maintain a healthy relationship with all, what the best can you do to offer to maintain a healthy and harmonized relationship, that includes presenting nicely to the people, helping when in great need of help, Silarehmi, offering and presenting love, care and respect.
F. An urge to earn a Halal livelihood so that you abstract yourself from depending on anybody and what the best can you offer to your ability to help yourself for the Halal livelihood. It is an excellent idea to use wisdom of the mind to develop these six qualities leaving all the useless thoughts and acts behind.
My advice to you is not to commit any mistake during performance whether it includes talking, eating or any other activity. “Chaal mein koi galti na ho jaye, ithni behtereen chal chalna”. Perfect decision with high quality performance is very important. The more love and respect you offer to the Ulemas, parents, children, wife, relatives and neighbours the higher will be the returns for you from the kingdom of The Almighty Allaah Shubanhu Tawaala. But be cautious there must be a balance in everything. Nobody should interfere in domestic affairs or suppress or neglect anybody’s rights. People should beat ease with you rather than being troubled or at difficulty. Whatever people are doing nowadays cannot be treated, as Deen. The Sunnah and the Shariah must authenticate all deeds. Wherever Sunnah is lacking people shall raise fingers on you and your faults but you won’t realize it as the people who observe your behaviour is what the impression and lesson they make about you while living or leaving you. Some people comment “Oh! He eats too much, Oh! He talks too much, Oh! He sleeps too much. He is a lazy man; he fires too much at people etc. That is why Rasool Peace be upon him had emphasized too much to live in balance and moderation. I’m often surprised to think that though we are equipped with so much knowledge (ILM) we use very little from that. Protection of the ear is so important that people’s talks and comments must not be able to send the wrong message to the mind. It is an art of living which volumizes how much to listen and what to listen to avoid stress. Never abuse anybody’s mind or wisdom. Humans tend to make mistakes, so grace, forgiveness, appreciation and encouragement are the best attitude to live in peace.
If you keep yourself busy with the task that The Almighty Allaah and his Prophet Peace be upon him has asked you to do, certainly you will be saved from all useless activities and Satan. Every person has to suffer in this world because the Prophet Peace be upon him and his pious companions had suffered a lot too. Try to reform yourself as much as possible so that your suffering is minimum and inculcate
the wisdom. Keep it in mind that fate (Taqdeer) overtakes all precautions. Many things are beyond our understandings and control. May The Almighty Allaah provide us the worldly gifts, which are useful and needed for our comfort in life, and reformation (tarbeith) is a must for the happiness in the world and Hereafter (Akherath). One complication, which we often face in life and at times it creates serious misunderstanding, is to command and convince others mind which is very difficult. Accept this fact that at times we cannot convince and command our own mind then how can we expect to control others’ mind; First of all we are not here to reform others; we are responsible for our reformation. Many kings, President failed to do this difficult job. So if some one does not listen to you leave him on his own, let him realize himself. Let him learn from his own experiences and loss.
Catch hold of Amaal, (good deeds) Sunnah and Shariah so firmly that Imthehan (Test from The Almighty Allaah), Nafs and Satan are unable to destroy your Deen, Duniya, Iman and Akherath (Hereafter).
He is your friend who covers your faults and spread good things about you; not he, who spreads bad and evil things about you and suppress good of yours. Mind is such a criminal that the moment it faces troubles and hardship it wants to run away from that situation leaving behind many people in distress and misery. Islam advice us to face the challenges, try to sort out problems amicably with your past experiences, knowledge and consultation.
Men are born in the purest form of ignorance, illiteracy and are unaware about the complicated life, critical problems, losses, sufferings, and humiliations waiting ahead. When they abruptly enter an alien sector that holds multiple problems, difficult situations, accidents and eventualities, it makes them nervous to deal with such unknown severe problems, which they never faced, in life. Stop for the moment, do Wuzu, offer two Rakats of Namaz. Put forth your troubles, pains, miseries in front of The Almighty Allaah, beg for His Mercy and Blessings. Then consult the right and senior professional who is honest in his practice,( a handful of professionals are opportunists these days). Consult with pious Mashaiks and state the professional’s claims, who (Mashaiks) with their past experiences, knowledge and ferashath (spiritual vision gifted by The Almighty Allaah) will explain things to you and InshaAllaah the hidden truth shall come to light and you will get the true picture. Extremely common and complicated problems come to light in medical decisions such as surgeries, child deliveries etc. That is why bar yourself from thinking to be the smarter one who decides everything, even the Prophets of The Almighty Allaah were advised to consult their companions whenever in need.
Hazrat Usman R A being a Caliph, was about to get killed, he asked the killer “Why do you wish to kill me? I didn’t commit major sins even during my period of ignorance (Jehalath)”. It is very clear that wisdom can be gifted to any one, any time and at any place irrespective of religion.
Similarly, Hazrat Omar R.A. was an arrogant man before accepting Islam; he even went to kill Prophet Peace be upon him. At a young age his father often told him, “ O my son! You don’t know even know how to look after the goats”. On embracing Islam he became the 2nd Caliph of Islam and one of the most powerful and dignified gentleman Islamic theology speaks about, it was his strengthened faith on The Almighty Allaah and obedience to Prophet Peace be upon him (Iman). Islam emphasis to develop Iman and wisdom that has to be developed simultaneously to become a unique person.
The night before Hazrat Ali R. A. was killed, people came for his protection, he said to them “Remember nothing happens in this world without the Wishes of The Almighty Allaah, if He wants to protect me none can cause harm if He Does not, none possess the power to be the savior, so, I don’t need your protection you may all go away and must leave me alone”. Unfortunately he was killed that very night.
The Author is a blind man who’s not able to visualize the punishment of The Almighty, His Commands. And in whose blood his enemies i.e. Nafs and Satan are running with their full strength, vitality and deception. So the blind man feels an urge to catch hold of the hands (Sunnah & Shariah) of the Prophet Peace be upon him to walk around. Learn wisely the Deen (Religion of Islam), Think correctly the Hadees (sayings of Prophet Peace be upon him), Act perfectly the way Prophet Peace be upon him has acted or asked us to act. Please do Duaien: May The Almighty Allaah make these things easy for us to follow and accept our noble efforts. |
