He will forget all the enjoyment of the world. Conversely, a man who suffered throughout his life just to fulfill The Almighty Allaah's commands will be sent some blessing from The Almighty Allaah which will be very relaxing and then he will be asked: "Did you have to face any trouble in your past life?" He will reply: "No, Lord, I have never faced any trouble." He too will forget all the sufferings of the world. This man will be rewarded with Heaven. Breaking even one of The Almighty Allaah's commands in this world is like upsetting the whole of the universe. But we don't realize this.
If anyone violates The Almighty Allaah's commands just to please somebody, The Almighty Allaah will fill with hatred the heart of the very man whom he wanted to please. Violation of The Almighty Allaah's Commands will bring punishment in this world and in the Hereafter, so be careful always to bow to the will of The Almighty Allaah.
Satan has attacked and cheated human beings in three ways: 1. He has encouraged them to eat, drink, dance and fulfill every desire. 2. He has led them to believe that because the world is very big, they should acquire as many material things as possible. 3. He has urged people to trust their brains, telling them they are 100% correct.
We all say the universe was created by Allaah, The Almighty Allaah, Ishwar and Prabhu. Then why are people fighting with each other in this world? The answer is that they do not obey The Almighty Allaah's commands. That is the source of all fighting and chaos. If we obey Him, the world would be at peace. The biggest problem in the world is that whatever people think, they imagine: They are correct. Maybe they are 100% wrong. That explains much of the misfortune afflicting this world.
Then, how can those who have not followed The Almighty Allaah can claim that they have accepted Him as their Lord? Similarly, how can those who have not followed the Prophet claim that they have accepted the prophetic way of life? How can one who has throughout his life spent his time, thought, energy and wealth on his own preferences expect The Almighty Allaah to reward him in Heaven after his death? Ignorance, denial and reluctance to follow The Almighty Allaah's Prophet besmirch the soul.
You must be wondering what The Almighty Allaah's Commands are? Are they hard to fulfill? Not it is so. They are very simple. The Almighty Allaah's commands fall upon this world as the rain falls upon human beings. That tell us what to see and what not to see, what to say and what not to say, what to hold and what not to hold, where to go and where not to go, what to think and what not to think, where to spend and where not to spend, whom to be closed with and with whom to keep distance. If one fulfills His Commands, his heart and soul will be cleansed, blessings from The Almighty Allaah will surround him in the world and he will receive a safe passage to Heaven for permanent rewards.
Normal tendency of a man is to run towards bad but with whom The Almighty Allaah has shown mercy their tendency will be towards His loyalty.
Some people feel, telling lies is better in some circumstances but the fear of The Almighty Allaah stops him. He feels tempted to take bribes but the fear of The Almighty Allaah stops him. Feels the desire to look at beautiful women but the fear of The Almighty Allaah stops him. Desires to cheat people but the fear of The Almighty Allaah does not allow him to commit that sin. Whosoever has developed this attitude in their faith, their place will be in Heaven. Many people do not realise this.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "The most important man is he who controls his desires and prepares himself for the hereafter. If anyone sacrifices the fulfillment of his desires to obey The Almighty Allaah's commands, he will develop a good relationship with The Almighty Allaah. The first gift The Almighty Allaah will give him is a heart, which is at peace. Then He will bestowed upon His blessings to his business or profession, and after death He will reward him with a Heaven ten times greater than this world. But one who flouts The Almighty Allaah's commands will find himself very far away from the Almighty Allaah, and he will be beset by misfortunes in his business or profession, with a dwindling income, no rain to make his crops flourish, or no customers to buy his goods. He shall have to suffer these and many more frustrations. All this happens in order to bring about a change in him for the better, but he does not want to repent and remains obdurate in his disregard for the will of The Almighty Allaah. Then the third punishment will be death and the tortures of Hell. That will be very painful. And nobody will be able to rescue him from this fate. When people are in trouble, they try to extricate themselves from it by further violations of their Lord's Commands. But the moment they do so, the problem multiplies itself. What they ought to do is weep before The Almighty Allaah and reform themselves. Although, initially that could give them some trouble because of living in an environment which is inimical to divine commands. But we should consider that when something has to be remedied, we have to have treatment which is at times painful and expensive, but when we are ultimately cured, we feel happy. Similarly, non-fulfillment of The Almighty Allaah’s command is like a disease for which we need a cure. Every command brings in blessings and plenty (Barakat). No situation remains the same. It is ever-changing. That is because The Almighty Allaah wants to put us to the test in different situations, and according to our deeds, He awards blessings or punishment. Many people do not realise this.
Once there was a faithful servant called Aayaz, Who worked in the palace of a King. He was so hard working and faithful to the king that he soon became the King’s favourite. The King always asked for, “Aayaz-in every matter and it aroused the jealousy among the other servants. They used to taunt him and say unkind words to him. The King soon came to know of it, so one day he called all his courtiers together in his court. He then brought a precious diamond and asked his courtiers to break it. They were reluctant to break it as it was an expensive thing. The King then asked Aayaz to break it. He immediately broke it, much to the astonishment of the courtiers. They asked “Aayaz, don’t you know that, you have just broken an expensive diamond?
He replied; “I know, but for me the commands of my King are more important than the value of the diamond.”
The king then said, “You all are hypocrites! You claim that you obey my commands, but the value of the diamond was more important for you, but Aayaz is faithful, without any doubts.”
In the same way, The Almighty Allaah wants us to obey His commands be they easy or difficult. The world may find us strange or crazy, but in the eyes of the Lord, they would be pleasing. Is it not better to the Creator of Heaven and earth, than our friends? Would it not be better to obey the Almighty Allaah, than our peers? We might mocked or laughed at, but the mocking of this world will be better then the punishment in the Hereafter, because life here on this earth is but for a short time, but the Hereafter is everlasting. |
